I do think, however, that the colours in the background are a little too saturated. The grass doesn't really look a natural green... the flowers you can kind of get away with though.
I do like the colouring effect you have chosen and I think it works well. It's also an interesting and original angle. I like how the child is in focus and the flowers are blurred and it works pretty well.
