Artist's Comments

I'm not really sure how I managed to get a picture that looks like this, I was using my kit lens. I really like it though, how the tower and smokestack is turned in towards each other. This is the Bathroom Tower of which I've a few other deviations with models in it... the Flying Buttresses which held the mill up, and the smokestack from the ruins of the old cotton mill.

I believe they converted it into a textile factory for a while, there were piles of carpet everywhere, but it is a shame they didn't do something with it once textiles left the county. I know in my town they made an old mill into a beautiful apartment building. Thank you!

ya a larger city near me has converted an old distillery complex into a artist Co-op and and old brick works is being turned into a type of botanical/artist type place! places like this can be reused quite effectively with a little planning.

La musa

L'arte è fermare un attimo e renderlo unico e immortale. L'uomo è il mezzo tra la musa, il gesto e il "per sempre".

Trovare una musa è una grande fortuna

Cool shot! I always liked seeing photos of old run-down buildings, 'cause it's cool to think about the story behind them.
