<sub>Today is the birthday of my oldest son Josiah, he's twelve today. In some cultures, that's nigh about manhood but Josiah is far from being a man - he's still my little 4lb 6oz baby who was born on January 14, 1998. I was in the hospital many times while pregnant, and it was an emergency c-section when he was born. He had no fat on him whatsoever, he looked like a little old man.

I can't believe that he is taller than me now and such a little man wanting to do his own things now. There are some days I wish he was the little bald baby again, but time has a way of moving forward no matter what you might want. His childhood seems so fleeting now, at least I have photos to remember all the times past.
