T H E -- D R U I D ' S -- E Y E
December 24, 09 Christmas Eve </i> It's Christmas Eve, and my kids are over at my sister-in-law's which gave me time to finish wrapping the presents. I really hope they like the presents, I kinda went all out this year. My oldest son is getting a lot of Doctor Who stuff - even found a replica of the Tardis key on ebay that I bought him, and a sonic screwdriver. Also bought him a cool video/camera. He and his friends are really into the whole youtube thing so this should help. Hudson got a turtle, I gave it to him early though. Some stuff for the DS that his aunt's giving him. Got my dad a bunch of various coffees. Got my sister-in-law a bevy of various books among some other things. My husband was easy, I'm helping him pay his car taxes. Though he apparently bought me something in a little box and I have no clue what it is! I don't think it's jewelry...hmm.
I've got to make sausage balls tomorrow and a carrot cake. My sister-in-law is an awesome cook, we are having ham with all the trimmings on Christmas day. My parents and brother are coming over as well. Now tonight the tradition is to have finger foods and open presents, this was my husband's family tradition that was brought into the marriage. So we'll have sandwich stuff, cookies, summer sausage and cheese and crackers and lots of shrimp, and dips and chips and stuff for christmas eve dinner.
What are your Christmas/Yule traditions?

SPECIAL LOVE TO for the year sub for my birthday/christmas! I know Peggy didn't give it to me so I'd make a big deal out of it but I'm going to anyway! Because it really made my day, it was the first time anyone's given me a sub on dA in all the years I've been here.
