This is a photography contest based on classic moments from movies. What I'm asking you to do is to recreate these greatest movie scenes/moments with your photography. Be as creative as you want, it can be YOUR take on the recreation of the scene!

Here's a few to get the juices going...

The Matrix - The freeze frame shots.
The Godfather - horsehead in the bed
Star Wars - pick any scene
There's Something About Mary - hair gel scene
Alien - bursting from the stomach
Saturday Night Fever - the solo dance
Gone with the Wind - there are numerous scenes
The Graduate - the seduction framed with the stockinged leg
Lady and the Tramp - the spaghetti scene
The Seven Year Itch - Monroe's dress billowing over a subway grate
Singin' in the Rain - the Rain dance
The Wizard of Oz - also numerous scenes such as witch melting
Psycho - the shower scene
anything Charlie Chaplin
Forrest Gump - with his box of chocolates
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Mommie Dearest - no more wire hangers!
Boondock Saints - ready for a kill
Fifth Element - the diva dance

You get the picture - any movie - any scene from that movie that you can somehow recreate without major photoshopping!

Rules

This is a photography contest only.
Only light photoshopping allowed such as tweaking of colors, contrast, turning it black and white, etc.
Unlimited entries!
Please link to this journal, or the news article in your artist's comments.
You must state what movie and a short synopsis of the scene in your artist's comments or it will not be accepted.
If you donate a prize, you may still submit.

How to Enter

Send a note to druideye with the subject line reading "Photo Contest". I will collect all submissions and judging will proceed in June 2010.

Deadline

Deadline is May 31, 2010. No submission will be accepted after midnight (EST) on the 31st. This gives you well over a month to submit something.
